Common Pollinators of Martin County
This short field guide is a scaled down, digital book focusing on noteworthy pollinators in and around the Treasure Coast area of Florida. These six bees and wasps are common, charming, easy to observe in the wild and beneficial.

‘Pollinator’ is a more appealing word than wasp…
Not a lot of people want to read-up on what kind of stinging insects live around them, but wasps (and their more well-received siblings: bees) are some of the worlds most interesting and diverse pollinators.
While there are a variety of pollinators from beetles to flies to birds, this short guide focuses on the order Hymenoptera; the beneficial, four-winged bugs that deserve some much-needed recognition.
